Bulk Mail ServiceStandard mail preparation (also known as bulk mail) can offer substantial postal savings to departments. Standard mail is more economical than first class mail, but it does not get the priority handling that first class ensures. We do not suggest using standard mail for any time sensitive material, such as invitations, that you need to get out quickly.
Many factors are involved in determining whether your mailing can obtain lower standard mail rates. You must have at least 200 identical pieces. Two processing categories also apply regarding size.
